Art Exhibition “E” (2024)
Art Exhibition E will take you on a journey into Eri’s Kawaii arty world. The exhibition showcases a combination of iconic Kawaii themes that she has been working on.
The most popular and iconic subject Pop Culture Japan which includes culture, foods and even more. You’ll find a series of Japanese illustrations from Eri’s last trip to Japan as well as a new art illustration series “THE JAPAN” – What Japanese are famous for.
Eri’s passion with wildlife and nature will also be a part of this exhibition. And the curious mystical mushroom world will continue to grow and sprout into a tiny insect world this year.
Neko (cat) has also been included in the exhibition since it has been one of her signature subjects for as long as she remembers. She would say… “I’m a cat lady without cat”. And also how Japanese have a special connection with cats, it’s wonderful giving them a spotlight at this show. Don’t you think!?
Overall, in Art Exhibition E represents Japanese, Cat, Wildlife and Marine Creatures in Australia, Nature and Mystical Mushroom World.
There will be special ceramic sculptures that features all of these themes.
Exhibition Fusion V (2024)
Exhibition Fusion V presents a collaboration of original art works from three local artists Tanya Ashworth, Yuiko Uto and Eri Yamaguchi.
Tanya Ashworth is a local artist embracing iconic Brisbane scenery and bright colours into artwork. Her detailed collage art works are outstanding and so delightful, and Tanya’s bright reef styled artworks have been very popular up in Cairns, North Queensland. Gerbino’s local Italian Pasticceria showcases her beautiful artwork.

Yuiko Uto is a Brisbane based Japanese artist who collaborates her thoughtful ideas from her life to create lively artwork. Her last exhibition “Popoco – Little Memos” themed childhood soul and shared a warm and playful atmosphere.

Eri Yamaguchi is a Japanese artist currently living and working in Brisbane as an Artist / Illustrator. Her artwork emphases intricate detail, Pen and Ink Kawaii (cute) and creative pop Japanese art world. With her story-telling artwork featuring nature and wildlife created by graphite.

「ほほ笑み Hohoemi」
The title of this pop-up Art Exhibition means lovely smile. I picked this title as I always feel that just a simple act of smiling is so heart-warming and also I like the Japanese saying 「笑う門には福来る Warau kadoniwa fukukitaru」 – smile brings fortune and takes you a long way.
In 「ほほ笑み Hohoemi」 , My special Nine Tailed Fox art collection will be presented at Kazuyo’s Collection TESHIGOTO amongst other original art works.
For several years now, I have been illustrating and offering 尾狐Kyu-bi as a special collection of 9 original artworks with different themes each year. These often include 8 tiny one of kind art originals and 1 medium original artwork, with limited edition art prints of the medium art piece.
Nine Tailed Collection 2023 presents brightness and positivity. Iconic Japanese flowers flourish through the collection. I’m feeling that it will be extra special to introduce this year’s medium art piece as it features my hometown Fujiyoshida-shi.

木の子 KiNoKo, artist Eri Yamaguchi creates fine arty world which features the nature fairy mushroom land from her imagination. Kinoko means mushroom, written as children of tree in Japanese and is the essential character of this exhibition.
Artist Eri Yamaguchi has been discovering the curious existence and characteristic of mushrooms to introduce them into her arty world. Her signature style cute and charming art illustrations will be displayed among ceramic sculptures.
和 WA – Solo Exhibition No.08 (2022)
Exhibition “和 WA” presented traditional Japanese cultural art and crafts influenced by modern and international living. “和 WA” is the traditional name for Japan and can be used for describing Japanese, i.e. Washoku means Japanese food and Washitsu means Japanese room, etc.
Artist Eri Yamaguchi was excited to share her home country, culture and languages through her art. And prepared all new original artworks as well as ceramics that introduce Japanese culture, food and language. This year’s new collection “Oishii Nekollection” features Japanese food venders and Kawaii Neko (cute cat) that aim to immerse you in to the Japanese food festivals. One of the most popular art collections “Nine Tailed Fox 2022” is going to be available, including in ceramics this year.
