There are everyone’s favourite Japanese foods series as well as special edition Yamagucchi and more on the display to purchase as well. \nHope everyone can enjoy and celebrate a lovely moment together. \nArtist Eri Yamaguchi is originally from Japan and has been a Brisbane local artist / creator for the past 6 years. She specialises in pen and ink art “Thousands of Expression” (千の表情 Sen no Hyōjyō)\, features intricate and detailed art illustrations influenced by Japanese culture. You can see her art illustrations through Instagram account @creative_world_of_eri \nEri handcrafts Kawaii miniature potteries based on her cute illustrations as well. Each one has individuality since she creates and paints everything one by one.\nYou can find these cuties at her Instagram account @a_piece_of_e \nIf you are interested in wildlife like Eri\, she also works on graphite medium to create delicate nature artworks. @eri_yamaguchi_art

The exhibition showcases a combination of iconic Kawaii themes that she has been working on. \nThe most popular and iconic subject Pop Culture Japan which includes culture\, foods and even more. You’ll find a series of Japanese illustrations from Eri’s last trip to Japan as well as a new art illustration series “THE JAPAN” – What Japanese are famous for. \nEri’s passion with wildlife and nature will also be a part of this exhibition. And the curious mystical mushroom world will continue to grow and sprout into a tiny insect world this year. \nNeko (cat) has also been included in the exhibition since it has been one of her signature subjects for as long as she remembers. She would say… “I’m a cat lady without cat”. And also how Japanese have a special connection with cats\, it’s wonderful giving them a spotlight at this show. Don’t you think!?   \nOverall\, in Art Exhibition E represents Japanese\, Cat\, Wildlife and Marine Creatures in Australia\, Nature and Mystical Mushroom World. \nThere will be special ceramic sculptures that features all of these themes. \nDates: Friday 2 Aug – Saturday 31 August \nOpening Night: Saturday 3 Aug \nFor the art opening night\, artist Eri Yamaguchi invites everyone to celebrate the special reveal as a birthday for her artworks. DESCRIPTION:Art Exhibition “Turning Point and Kawaii Mystical World” represents two types of nature world\, underwater and forest land. \n \n“Turning Point” showcases the latest collection of whale and marine art and sculptures to share the story about marine life and the importance of protecting them in our ecosystems. \nThe artworks will take you on a journey to my curious underwater world\, with many engaging storytelling pieces to allow you to share your experience and knowledge with your friends and family.\n \nI believe we can all help\, no matter how small\, and hope that with the right messages\, we can make a difference and promote change. Through this exhibition I am hoping to inspire and influence as many people as possible\, there will also be an opportunity for everyone to donate any spare gold coins\, which i will ensure all are fully donated to The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS)\, where they help protect marine animals\, educate people and push towards making significant changes. DESCRIPTION:｢ほほ笑み Hohoemi｣  \nThe title of this pop-up Art Exhibition means lovely smile. I picked this title as I always feel that just a simple act of smiling is so heart-warming and also I like the Japanese saying ｢笑う門には福来る Warau kadoniwa fukukitaru｣ – smile brings fortune and takes you a long way.  \nIn ｢ほほ笑み Hohoemi｣ \, My special Nine Tailed Fox art collection will be presented at Kazuyo’s Collection TESHIGOTO amongst other original art works. \nFor several years now\, I have been illustrating and offering 尾狐Kyu-bi as a special collection of 9 original artworks with different themes each year. These often include 8 tiny one of kind art originals and 1 medium original artwork\, with limited edition art prints of the medium art piece. \nNine Tailed Collection 2023 presents brightness and positivity. Iconic Japanese flowers flourish through the collection. I’m feeling that it will be extra special to introduce this year’s medium art piece as it features my hometown Fujiyoshida-shi. \nDetails: There is no opening event scheduled\, however my works will be on display from Sunday 19th February at Kazuyo’s Collection\, 195B Boundary Street\, West End

Her signature style cute and charming art illustrations will be displayed among ceramic sculptures. \nPlease join me at 木の子の国 KiNoKo no Kuni (Mushroom Land) and experience fungi magic thorough my artwork. DESCRIPTION:和 WA – Solo Exhibition No.08  \nOpening on Saturday 23rd Jul 6:30pm till late  \nOpen to public: 22nd Jul – 11th Aug \nExhibition “和 WA” presents traditional Japanese cultural art and crafts influenced by modern and international living. “和 WA” is the traditional name for Japan and can be used for describing Japanese\, i.e. Washoku means Japanese food and Washitsu means Japanese room\, etc. \nArtist Eri Yamaguchi is excited to share her home country\, culture and languages through her art. And has been preparing all new original artworks as well as ceramics that introduce Japanese culture\, food and language. This year’s new collection “Oishii Nekollection” features Japanese food venders and Kawaii Neko (cute cat) that aim to immerse you in to the Japanese food festivals. One of the most popular art collections “Nine Tailed Fox 2022” is going to be available\, including in ceramics this year. \nI would like to have everyone at the special opening night to experience the Japanese festival vibe with me. I will also be around over the weekends during the exhibition which I update each week through my social media. \nThere are some original designed merchandises which will be available at the exhibition.
